A. PetFocus was created with students in mind. Our team wants to help all students regardless of their financial situation, so we decided to develop an app that is completely free to use! In order to support our team, we have thoughtfully implemented ads. Users can also choose to buy an ad-free version of PetFocus for only CAD$4.99.

Q. What happens if I disable an important app?

A. You will not be able to disable emergency apps such as Text Messages, Phone, Camera, Voice Record, Maps, Contact, and more. You can only disable third party apps such as social media and games, and you can only disable them for 60 minutes at a time.

Q. Are there any risks of addiction with this PetFocus?

A. Our team wants to provide our user with the most engaging and positive way to force mobile screen-time reduction while monitoring the risk of addiction closely. There may be a small risk of high PetFocus app usage, however in order to continue using the app, the user is forced to use our App-Block feature, where they set a timer to disable all apps, including PetFocus’ gameplay features.

Q. Do I need Wifi connection to use PetFocus?

A. You will not need wifi connection to use our main features of this app! However, if you wish to upload your scoreboard or challenge your friends, you will need an online connection.
